  1. Buy

    Ticket sales have now closed.

  2. Receiving Tickets

    Shortly after ticket purchase, you will receive an email containing your digital ticket link. This link contains all your tickets for Dark Mofo and Mona. To prevent scalping, your ticket QR codes will become available 12 hours prior to each event.

    Each time you place an order, you’ll receive a new ticket link and the previous one will expire. Treat this link as your ticket—don’t share it around. If you lose your ticket link, you can request a new one below.

  3. Refunds

    No refunds or exchanges, unless applicable under Australian Consumer Law. Please see our Terms + Conditions for more information.

  4. Resales

    If you can’t attend an event, you can nominate to resell your tickets through the ticket link sent to your email. Simply open your ticket link and select the event to resell, look for the button 'Resell Tickets' and follow the steps.

    Your ticket will be made available for resale if the event sells out. If it sells, we’ll refund you the ticket price (except the booking fee). Resales are available up until 24 hours prior to show. After this point, if your ticket has not been resold it will be returned to your digital ticket wallet and available for you to use or pass onto a friend.

    A resale request can be cancelled by calling +61 (3) 6277 9978 or emailing tickets@mona.net.au (please note the operating hours are 9am–5pm, 7 days). Resale cancellation requests are reviewed in line with our Terms + Conditions and are subject to the ticket/s still being available for sale at the time the cancellation request is actioned.

    Please note: no resales on Winter Feast Season Passes or Trance Passes.

  5. Waitlist

    This year there is no general waitlist. Waitlists for specific sold out shows will show up on individual event pages, so keep your eyes peeled.

    Keep checking for resales if you want to secure tickets to sold out events, and subscribe for updates on any ticket releases.

  6. Scalping

    If you are selling Dark Mofo tickets at a premium, we will cancel your order. And if you purchase a ticket from a third party, we can’t guarantee that the ticket will be valid, and you also lose all consumer rights—including the right to a refund (even if you have a valid reason). All tickets have a unique barcode that can only be used once (and can be cancelled by the powers that be, should you not play ball).

  7. Pass Outs + Lockouts

    Pass outs are available for some events, and will be clearly marked on your ticket. If you require a pass out, get a wristband or stamp from event staff before leaving the venue. Re-entry to all events is subject to capacity.

    Some of our shows have lockouts. This means you’ll be permitted entry at a suitable break in the performance. For others, you won’t be permitted entry after the performance has started. Details regarding lockouts are clearly noted on tickets.

  8. Booking Fees

    A $6 booking fee applies to each Dark Mofo transaction, unless you’re buying a print program, nude swim tickets, or purchasing tickets on the door (at the advertised door price).

  9. Box Offices

    Several venues serve as Box Offices for face-to-face ticket sales during the festival. Check our venues for Box Office locations and opening hours.
